MZM is mostly Joe Soccer Mom/Brazil America's daily living money, and ready cash:

and she is being wiped clean by inflation. In otherwords, the worse inflationary conditions are, the more this kind of money will drop. because more of it gets used and absorbed. In all great inflations, most people have no cash on hand. The Rosenbergs of the world would have the Fed print more "money" now, which would have the complete opposite effect intended.

Meanwhile Pig Men (global financial sphere) and Riskloves are creating leveraged Ponzi finance money like no tomorrow, which is fueling double digit credit growth and broader money supply growth.

The key is to halt the later by driving a stake into the heart of Pig Men, which would in turn relieve the pressure on Brazil America.

This graph is from ML's Rosenberg (August 2006 Outlook)

I have little clue what "Real MZM" is and do agree that money is getting tight... but his MZM and mine (non seasonally adjusted and Y/Y change) sure don't match lately and I just double checked my numbers from the last two years.
