Stocks are definitely diverging from Fed's total pool (declining). Think the market has the next pause overrated. BOJ has been below 10.0 trillion yen for about four weeks too.


Perhaps that's what Moskow was trying to telegraph on Monday.
Yes, I track both the balance and surplus/shortage weekly on my central bank watch page - the Nikkei shows a similar picture.

The Bank of Japan appears to trump the Fed. Notice the market has been selling off into the last two BoJ meetings.
