"Iraq's ME allies"...WHO are Iraq's ME allies? The Saudis and the Jordanians are Sunnis and they'd probably pour cash and jihadists in to support the Sunnis. The Iranians would already be there to support the Shiites. Oil would be $200 a barrel and a gallon of gas in the U.S. would be $8 bucks. The Russians and Chinese would find it in their national interest to take sides, probably with Iran. We would be trying to figure out WHO we should support besides Israel. The Evangelical Christians would be "speaking in tongues" all night long and dancing in the streets.
