Not mixed, but together. I have a bowl of oatmeal and a handful of raw broccoli flowers. I eat the flowers and my dog eats the stems. It's a symbiotic relationship because she likes stems but not flowers and I like flowers but not stems.

The oatmeal is good for my cholesterol. Much better than Lipitor, which gave me such bad leg pain I quit the dang stuff and don't ever plan to return to it.

It's a strange combination, I realize. It doesn't give me gas, though.
