Even an ordinary 14,000' well is deep, and a lot more expensive than 2.8 x to drill and complete a 5,000' well. And, no doubt, this new age drilling technology to get through all that tough basalt is going to cost something extra.

Perhaps Sprott has those numbers. Certainly, we'll all know in the fullness of time:))

Having said all that? My worst case is a solid hat trick, OR MORE. Whether we get that profit in the IT, OR have to wait a year or two depends - to some extent - on whether the broad stock market indices begin to factor in a recession next year before the election. If that happens? I'll be willing to accept a smaller IT gain by October and reload sometime down the road.

For now? DPTR is my largest portfolio position at slightly overweight.>>
