You may be aware of it, but you're a racist. Everyone is to some degree. You are probably a moderate one. George Allen is more than a moderate racist. Strom Thurmond was both a racist and a secret lover of black women. Just like many rightwing gay-baiters are secretly gay bthemselves.

Blacks don't excel at the country club sports. Swimming, golf, tennis and such...because blacks aren't welcome at the country club. And most blacks don't want to hang with whitey anyway. That doesn't mean that there aren't great black athletes in these sports...there are. But you asked why there weren't more. Go down to the country club and see how many blacks you'll find. Not very many. Now go to any basketball court. You'll find lots of blacks there. Or to the football field on sunday. Lots there too. It's all about opportunity.
