The good news is that the West seems to have recovered- -largely. Not even the Fundie Christians down here are ready to throw out the 1st amendment granting freedom of religious belief. They know quite well that about 40% of Americans are Catholic and would rather fight than become Southern Baptist. The Fundies might even win, but their losses would be incredible. MAYBE the Muslims in N. Africa and the ME ought to take a look at the West for solutions to the problems they are having. Killing all infidels isn't the answer. No matter what your religious beliefs, there are too many infidels. And they HAVE to give up the idea that a portion of this planet is theirs and theirs alone.
