What you are experiencing in Nashville is what went on in Phoenix and Orlando 18-24 months ag, Boise and El Paso last year and Salt Lake City and Austin earlier this year. Just how many bullets are left by equity locusts from California and the northeast now that the party has really ended? Builders overbuilding like there is no tomorrow is also bad in the near term in any overbuilt area without enough real end users. I would keep close tabs on number of rentals in Nashville for part of the puzzle as well.
