great thoughts, Dusty..

I got the feeling that they are really on the right track and were empowered...or at least it helped them get centered to have a meeting with the bad guys and realize that they absolutely do not need them.

I will pass along your thoughts and offer to help.

gracias muchacho.

You are a good idea man.

I like your thoughts about COTR.

I wish I could get a few live songs of theirs like you can with the Grateful Dead. I just love live music. There is an energy that can't be captured in the studio.

The Dead's attitude was always that they were just nature's instruments that allowed the sound to come out and therefore they had no problem with anyone wanting to tape it and share it.

After playing it, they were done with it.

Too bad the fuggin accountants got their hands mixed up in the music biz. Think of all the cool stuff we'd be hearing instead of today's canned top hits.

P.S. The Dead were pretty darn talented. If Rat catches you saying someone else was more talented, you might be in for some trouble. (He talked about loosening the bolts on your bar stool here...) I think the Dead were driven too. Driven to just "be".

The concerts sold out pretty quickly.
