This seems to be your problem Tim -- murdered does not just mean dead -- if they were merely killed and are dead it would be cause for sadness -- but when their death is the result of war crimes then their deaths are murder and those guilty of these crimes should be in jail or executed. I know of no reason why even a head of state should not be accountable in this regard. I can think of no application of the death penalty more righteous than for the mass murder of children.
