In itself, you are probably right. However, this is the first time all summer that bullish sentiment has come in higher than bearish sentiment. If you look at current sentiment data from within the context of the last couple of months, this is showing an increasing amount of confidence in the economy (as it is rapidly slowing) and the Federal Reserve's ability to produce a soft landing, given the fact that the housing bubble has burst, inflation pressures are still in the pipeline and the Fed "may" still need to raise rates again.

More importantly, the VIX has just moved closer to a multi-decade low set just about one year ago.
