Well you made me look it up. I thought the U.S. was the #1 exporter and Germany #2.

The CIA factbook has:

U.S.:
$927.5 billion f.o.b. (2005 est.)

Germany:
$1.016 trillion f.o.b. (2005 est.)

I guess I'm not paying enough attention!

So the add together just the six largest exporters in Euro land and they already are at three times what the US exports? This does not sound good for the US long term. Much worse than I ever would have thought..
