Not true. I provided some objective information that is broadly substantiated and some very uninformed persons, such as yourself, went on a racism rant. I have watched swimming competition at all levels for several decades.

1) It isn't true that it is an elite country club sport that blacks don't have access to. The vast majority of swim teamers go to public pools and don't have a private pool in their back yard. The vast majority join teams at their schools. Black people have access to public pools and go swimming regularly, and join teams at their schools.

2) Black kids go to schools with swim teams. Swimming isn't a sport that requires years of skill training. I have seen high schoolers learn a stroke and get into shape in a couple of weeks, then to beat other kids who have been swimming all their lives. That is more the norm than the exception.

3) The same mostly black schools that have all the other sports and beat all the teams in their league lose in that same league in swimming against teams that are not mostly black.

4) That is not my bias it is just what happens and has been happening for decades. There is no evidence that the data on swimming competition is racist and quite to the contrary, any sports like swimming or track are extremely fair because the results are determined by a stop watch not a judge.

5) Call it what ever you want but when you call it racism you are simply exposing your ignorance.

6) I didn't bring it up.
