the idea of profiting off someone's demise is not a pleasant thought.

It is very sad the millions of people are going to get (are already) hosed.

But if it's going to happen, it makes sense for those who are smart enough to take advantage of it to do so.

one other factor to consider is if no one is profiting from the demise of others, who is going to be around with capital to fund the next recovery? (I admit the bottom is a looooooong way away.)
