Harley Davidson said late Monday that they were buying an Australian wheel and hub manufacturer for an undisclosed sum.

I haven't looked at the company in awhile.. I see they did a ticker change. It strikes me as odd that a company with such a well established brand would decide that they need to change their ticker symbol so that it better reflects their product. It seems cosmetic... almost superficial.

I can't remember what happened in April 2005, but whatever the cause the stock sold off heavily and did so on record volume.
Red Flag.

Since then it has risen back towards its old all time high [62ish]. As can be seen, it has done so on declining volume...



Time to shop the puts?
