Very interesting chart. Boomer bulge real obvious. The battle is for those 40 year olds who are beyond eligibility for military service,
but who may have kids who are old enough,
entering their prime earning years,
paying taxes,
getting downsized,
outsourced,
squeezed from all sides,
seeing no pensions ahead,
and who know that one false step and they lose their health insurance.

Meet the Press roundtable today says Dems will take the house easily, with 10 or so seats to spare and the Senate is less likely but there are 4 or so senate seats going democratic right now and the few remaining will be tough races.

I will be thrilled to get just the house. Senate would be great but one house will be enough.

The general theme seems to be that republicans will have a very tough time rallying their base with the #1 reason repubs will stay home, is the dismal state of the budget and the fiscal conservatives feeling disenfranchised.
