Great post.. I just wish more folks understood that fixing such a screwed up country is going to take more than a few years. Hell, it took decades to get it this screwed up in the first place. I may find myself eating my words someday, but I'd like to think this will all be worth it down the road.. I'd also like to believe that what we've done in Iraq has prevented Al Qai'da and other Islamo-Fascists from ever being able to suggest that they aren't just as willing to kill innocent Muslims who defy them, as they are Western "infidels". I'd also like to think that the stand we've taken will prevent an even larger conflagration in future years that would necessitate the loss of hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, of lives on all sides.
