"I would point out that the Kurds are some form of Sunni but you never seem to hear of them killing Shia or vice versa." Mostly 'cause they've got better press control (&, as our ally, we tamp down a lot of negative press). They are (& have been) killing Turks and Turkomen... and are currently engaged in a large ethnic cleansing effort in the Mosul area against the mostly Sunni Arabs that Saddam settled there. Thousands of Sunni Arabs being forced out....
