Without more information, I am not sure that statistic means much, '35% interested in the truth'.

People have interests in all kinds of things that they don't necessarily support or make any level of commitment to.

You are a true example of being in the majority. Read Truth vs. Falsehood as a starter, it will be over your head if yor are unable to construct logarithmic scales.

Another excellent book is Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis and Calibration of the Levels of Human Consciousness by Dr. Hawkins.

He is an excellent speaker too.
