I think we talked about Cache that way also. That is was, in some parts, visually exciting, and the acting as superb, but in the end it was unsatisfying, because of the ending, and the cuts were just too damn long.

On top of that it too was a depressing movie. I thought of it because of your line "What? We sat through this for that ending?" That was 100% the way I felt about Cache.

L'Enfant just came out on DVD, and I'm a little afraid to see it since it looks rather harrowing. A young thief sells his infant son on the black market, but his girlfriend gets so upset he tried to get the baby back. I think I'll wait a while on that one. Lemming looked interesting- I'll probably rent that next.
