I didn't say that. And the ME doesn't sell oil to any particular state, they sell it to whoever pulls up a big tanker at the spigot and pays the current rate. It's a commodity, there is no way for them to stop selling to the US and keep selling to Canada, for example.

Sure there is, instead of selling to Canada they sell to China who will buy all they can get.Should the ME countries decide to do it they can sell to whoever they want. Cutting the US off of that commodity is no different than any other commodity.
