I'm personally prepared for all of that Itch. I can easily afford $10 a gallon gas and to pay double or triple for food and heat. I have no debt and a nice stash of cash and a fine gun collection. How about you? I am fine, I have been looking at Islands in Georgian Bay to see if I can find one the right size and the right price, and a small boat that I can convert. I am really interested in a boat that could be converted to an electric drive. I have seen on the net, boats that are converted to electric with a large set of batteries, with solar panels and a diesel generator for back up. I particularly like Dutch Tjalk's because they have a sail, and are built to carry freight or to live aboard. The mast can be lowered in case of need. I need a new bow, mine is old and could stand to be replaced. And some arrows, and other than that, life is good.
