Nearly 5 years had elapsed between when Clinton observed that there may be a connection between Saddam and al Qaida and when we invaded Iraq. And during that five years, there was an absence of information that served to clear Saddam. In fact, in October 2002, terrorists who got their directions and funds from an Al Qaida affiliated terror leader living in Iraq, Musab al Zarqawi, murdered a US diplomat in Amman.

Yes, and what does that have to do with Iraq? When Zarqawi was in Jordan, he was not affiliated with al Qaida. Did you know that?

What? Everyone sat on their fingers for five years? And that's the fault of Clinton? Give me a break? British, Italian and American intel were getting all kinds of info. Very few were trying to link Saddam and bin Laden. It would be the equivalent of Pat Robertson hooking up with Jon Stewart. Bottom line: some people just don't go together well.

In fact, in October 2002, terrorists who got their directions and funds from an Al Qaida affiliated terror leader living in Iraq, Musab al Zarqawi, murdered a US diplomat in Amman.

So what.......he was in N. Iraq which was not under Saddam's control.

Perhaps you think that constitutes proof that Saddam didn's support terrorism?

I believe that Saddam supported terrorism by sending money. I also believe that al Qaida was not a recipient of that money.
