flopper, the obfuscation is yours, not mine. You start by re-defining Murtha's statements. Murtha did not say he wanted to pull all the troops out as soon as possible.

Murtha and Kerry are right, Bush is wrong. Re-deployment is exactly what we need, and we should have done it a long time ago. It means moving one third to Kuwait and Kurdistan, one third home and maybe one third in less visible positions in Iraq guarding crucial infrastructure until they're not needed. But not "right away" (that's a rightwing lie) only as quickly as possible to preserve safety of our troops.

Now Bush has made such a mess over there that no plan is 100% right. Just like Bush's deficits, who knows how to pay them back? Bush has created a monstrous mess.

But Murtha's obviously makes a lot more sense than Bush's, which is really no plan for any exit - ever - just more of the same without a clear or realistic mission, purpose or endgame.
