Clinton was not corrupt. The Whitewater investigation was the most extensive investigation ever to take place in DC. They spent 80 million bucks doing a partisan witchhunt examination of both Clintons' entire lives and failed to come up with a single thing wrong they ever did except Clinton's affair.

And Clinton's sex life should never have been investigated in the first place. With that as a new precedent Bush would also be forced to perjur himself if forced to answer if he's ever cheated on his wife. Of course he has.

I would also point to the fact that all the fabricated accusations the rightwing has made against Clinton have turned out to be phony, including the myth that he was offered Osama Bin laden by Sudan. Never happened.

The rightwing named Clinton "slick" because he was so smooth and likeable that he was very hard to criticize. Even after the Lewinsky scandal Clinton left office the most popular president since JFK. He was also the most successful. The smear campaign against the Clintons by the far right is really dishonest and shameful.

I can't believe that 6 years after Clinton has left office, after 140K useless deaths have occurred in a worthless war that Bush alone started, after the government has spent us out of house and home such that the dollar has declined a full 50% and deficits are higher than they have ever been, after any diplomatic relations we had with any allies have been completely demolished such that even the ISRAELIs don't really listen to us anymore, that you are still harping about "Slick".

Bring Slick back. He was a good president. He knew how to negotiate. He was great with the budget. He didn't rush to war for no reason.

Bush's approval ratings are 30% for good reason. The man is a loser. If Bush was somehow incapacitated tomorrow, for any reason, the US stock markets would rally.

Clinton would beat Bush 70-30% now if there an election.
Gore or Kerry would beat Bush 65-35%.
Both Gore and Kerry actually beat Bush but were cheated.

No question about it, the American People want competent leadership again, not some scam artist from the Texas oil industry.
