I expect we already have a contingency deal in place with Musharraf, in exchange for tickets out for him and his family. The Government there is a Westernized Military crust on top of barbarism. The prior Civilian Government was a Westernized Socialist crust on top of the same. It was so corrupt it couldn't hold power. Will globalization work in time to stop Islamism setting in while the Westernized crust holds on to power? TWT. If we can stop the nuke capability, and the Islamists do take over, they won't be able to hurt us too much. And they will self-destruct as time goes by. Barnett's position is, given time enough, globalization wins. I agree. The problem; in the meantime; is tip-toeing though the Nuclear thicket any of these countries may have or get.
