Itch old dog, I put it to you, how do you "beat" a country with 200+ nukes mounted on IRBM's, aircraft and submarines when your countries have NONE? A country with the fourth largest military in the world equipped with the finest weapons, OURS? Israel is not at risk. Chris old boy, It is easy to explain. Those weapons represent schools, and museums, and seniors homes and vacations and symphonies and theatres and art galleries, and all the things in life that Jews are habitually known for. It represents hospitals and universities and parks and archeological research and desalinization plants and solar technology. All of which do not exist because some goat herders and their mad demented religion, have sworn to destroy Israel. Every day israel lives with the threat that some whacko will attack. Every single day they have waited to die for 58 years. So they arm themselves instead of building their country. They build bomb shelters instead of kindergartens. And every day some whacko fires a missile, or a bomb or murders someone. So instead of another Bernstein we get a Moishe Dayan. Instead of another Gertrude Stein collecting art we get Golda Meier, instead of surgeons and dentists and accountants we get soldiers, and military strategists. Look at who the Jews are in the rest of the world, then look at Israel, I have said before Israel is a creation of the Muslim World. Jews in general would rather create, to give to the world, than kill. But in a world that has sworn to kill them, they adapt.

Israel doesn't have the 4th largest military in the world. It might not be in the top ten. How do you beat Israel, in the sense of conquering or destroying it? Well its not going to be easy for the Arabs. If it was they would have done it already, but Israel is very small in both territory and population. The nukes might deter the Arabs even if they ever got their act together enough to inflict a conventional defeat on Israel, but still Israel is under a serious threat. And eventually you could get an Iran with nukes, and perhaps with the type of attitudes that have been expressed by Ahmadinejad.
