That's a bogus issue. Democrats cheered our troops as they did a great job achieving the objective which was given them, taking Baghdad. We also cheered them in Afghanistan, but wondered why Bush was in such a hurry to pull out. Democrats are not anti-war, we are pro smarter defense. After all it's not how big you are, it's how smart and quick you are. Bush's invasion of Iraq turned out to be a terrible strategic blunder which could have been avoided simply by sitting down and thinking carefully, and doing a lot more prep. Also the whole notion you can defeat terrorism by occupying countries is ridiculous. Historically occupiers have fanned the flames of nationalistic "terrorists", that is people who want their country back. I'm not even sure they should be called terrorists. We terrorize too. Shock and awe?
