The battery problem is only in the computers that were shipped with liquid lithium ion batteries, which as I understand it, does not include any of the Intel processor Mac laptops which were shipped with Lithium ion gel batteries. That means that the intermittent shut downs are a completely different troubleshooting issue. If it is indeed caused by assembly issues, Apple should be all over it before the end of the week. September is on its way. Can't have the bad publicity wagging the coming good publicity.
