I agree with the article. Furthermore, it would be easy to arrange a transfer of power from the Shiite Alawite government to thly e 90% Sunni population in Syria. There would be very little post war resistance like we saw in Iraq. Really, the only thing that is missing is a reason to take out Syrian leadership. As the article suggests, the Syrian government has not done anything directly to involve itself in the attacks against Israel.
