"Too bad that queen and her friend, elan, don't like my explanation of how udderly rudely BOB BIRINKER treats his guest--I did it for the edification of those who didn't hear the call.

If anyone doubts what I said is true, go to KGO.com and listen--I think you have about a half hour left to hear it for free."

Well that is if they don't subscribe to "moneytalk on demand" which Brinker uses as a profit center and markets not to the goobers and geezers like his newsletter but to the 'utterly stupid'.

Roses,
Normally I have no problem with clearly identified and (hopefully) fair-minded EC's. For example, I think David Korn's EC's are quite interesting, fair and to the point.

However I heard the call, and I disagree with your characterization of it. I think you attempted to "sex the transcript up" as they might say across the pond. I also feel that those who did not hear the call may be misled by your characterization.

All of this is subjective of course. I may be wrong. You may be wrong. Perhaps both of us are wrong. :-)

Don't overblow it in an attempt to cover up, honey. Just a suggestion. Editorial comments do not belong in a "verbatim" transcript. I didn't say any of the other things you speculate. If you add editorial comments into a transcript that is alleged to be verbatim, it shades the whole thing, and begs the question as to whether it is otherwise shaded. People know that. I'm not saying that your transcript is inaccurate in any way otherwise. So thanks for the transcript, and thanks for the topic of today's discussion.

Another longtime fan says today...

"The specific problem I have with Kirk is how he sometimes is trashing Bob, and then in the next sentence saying how his own Newsletter is better.

That is too much of a conflict of interest, no matter how much Kirk will deny it, and reflects poorly on Kirk's character.

Bob's letter clearly specifies each of his Portfolios and his Buy & Sell signals, plus is followed independently by Hulbert.

When anyone points out the conflicts regarding Kirk's comments, he will just try and shout down the other person."

--Honey, bob did not treat Mary rudely. Period. End of story!

If you want an excellent example of one person treating another person rudely, all you have to do is read kirk's posts to queen today.

THAT is the DEFINITION OF RUDE!!!
