Marcos I feel like you. All this war chit just has to stop. We have to start behaving like civilized human beings. It is all nuts. I just finished watching a documentary on the "legal black chain gangs' formed right after the civil war in the south to provide cheap labor for the elite land owners by trumping up charges on blacks. Many of them little kids. They did nothing, it was a scam approved by the entire southern culture and their legal systems. They said the blacks were treated worse than slaves and not one person survived 10 years. And it was all legal. And the torture was ungodly. They arrested the blacks on trumped up charges, or very miner infractions of the law and then gave them long sentences; and then rented them to land owners to work the fields. I ask myself all the time where were all the decent people when this stuff was going on? Where were the courts and all that logic painted in the movie "the paper chase". What kind of socieity allows that sort of thing to go on? what kind of people? Southern hospitality my arse-lol. And segregation until 1965! What kind of people allow that to go on? If I had been born in the south I doubt I would have gotten out of their alive-lol. I am not much of one for keeping still about matters such as those-lol. The horrible horrible chain gangs went on more or less for 70 years between 1865 and 1930. I am becoming a recluse in my old age as I have become so disappointed in my species.
