The relevance is simple- the original post tried to make it sound as if this were an unbiased review saying "Guys, you should switch to apple for back to school, i've seen the light" When in fact the guy was already a gay author who makes a living writing Mac "how to" articles. It's like trying to pass off a review saying "The Subaru Outback" is the best back to school car, only to find out the author is a lesbian Subaru dealer. It's called bias. Your average gay man or metrosexual wouldn't be caught dead using anything other than a Mac in the local starbucks. I live two blocks from the Castro in SF, so I can tell you from everyday experience. That's a simple fact. Macs are more about fashion than PCs are- that's the way it's always been.
