Stated-income loans probably represent a small blip on the radar screen compared to the general malaise in the SFD real estate market. I don't really think we'll hear much more about it except where it arises as a company specific problem.

Of course I'm assuming that most lenders had better sense than to load up on such loans, but who knows to what extent lenders have become less risk adverse since I was around the business.
