Q8tFreebe / Jeff, re: QCOM GSM v NOK and “Nokia sandbox”... silence

From my latest gander, the “hot” topic over there is the WCDMA naming convention---3GSM.

WRT that, I thought this wording was interesting in the Q / NOK joint license extension PR.

******************* interesting side note **************************

>>> interesting choice of wording “all CDMA wireless systems” NOK agreed to in their joint PR. It didn’t say – “3GSM, nor UMTS”, but referred to their new 3G infrastructure license as a “CDMA wireless system”, so despite what some argue on this board, we can now be assured that when Dr. IMJ stated in reference to the name change to 3GSM ** "THEY think it's GSM but it's really CDMA"**, NOK was in full agreement!!!! .

Re : "What are 'they' (the Nokia message boards) saying ?" -- last time I looked, there was a lot of incoherent weirdness over on the Nokia message boards.

I am afraid to look now ...
