No separation of Church and State? How about Article VI...wouldn't you see this as clear indication that the purposes of religion and governance are seen to be different?

No I wouldn't. Article VI is saying you don't have to take a religious test to be a member of Congress. It is not saying that religion cannot be a part of government (in any form), like socialists believe.

Our laws and rights are based on religious principles. A community should be able to express their religious beliefs in public. It is their 1st Amendment right.

I am not advocating a theocracy. I am advocating religious freedom...

It is amazing that after 185+ years of being a country someone decided that religion was unconstitutional.
