AVNX looks like what "Ray" calls a breakaway gap. 2.07 appears to be a short term target from here with a 2.35 longer term target. A big positive is that the 20dEMA crossed above the 50dMA at about 1.51 last week. There is one "stock letter" (www.bulltrade.com) that was touting the stock, so that could be part of the momo.

59 days!!! Yeeeehaaaa

AVNX

Gap filled. I think the correct call here was...(drumroll please)...RAY!

Nice fresh entry point opportunity.

Re: AVNX

As you said, it had a nice spike on 8/28 on good volume of 19,841,000 The upgap from that day has now been closed and it is now testing support at the 1.5 to 1.46 level. It did OK today in spite of the market & is still doing OK AHs.

On 8/28 was when it reported the "preliminary results" for the 4thQ which were officially reported yesterday.

With the DOW & the NAZ action today, there seems to be no rush to buy, especially with the TRANs looking as it may retest its August Ls.

AVNX closed the Yr. on a good mood, with the revenues increasing 5% on the last Q & continuing to trim its loss by half.

It seems the next few Qs should also look good by comparison as the estimated loss for 2007 is around $0.03/shr vs. $0.26/shr in 2006. For 2007 EE are around $0.10/shr on the black column .

Excuse the delayed response, but as you may have noticed, I haven't been very active in the market lately. <g>

P.S. I enjoyed the move on VPHM from 8/16 to the end of the month & was sorprised that Ray had no comments on it since March.<g>
