It's something we westerners have difficulty understanding, and so we fear it, and rightly so. You lie about it, and try to diminish it and dismiss it. The man willing to sacrifice his life for his belief is a powerful man, serving a powerful belief. In the case of Muslim suicide bombers they are usually boys trying to be men and promised all kinds of crap if they do this for the killer g*d allah. Usually egged on by some older man who will never give himself the same treatment.
