OmniVision Briefing.com - August 29, 2006 9:31 AM ET Jefferies & Co reiterates Hold. Target $24 to $16.5. Jefferies cuts their tgt on OVTI to $16.50 from $24 saying although OmniVision has regained some share and will likely benefit from robust demand for C.M.O.S sensors and a mix shift to higher A.S.P megapixel sensors in 2H:06, they remain neutral as we believe pricing pressure and the slow ramp of 2MP sensors will likely cause downward estimate revisions. Ahead of OVTI's earnings on August 31st the firm is lowering their ests for FY07 as they expect weak July results and Oct guidance below consensus.
