You've got it backwards. It's the elitists on this thread who think Social Security is "just fine."

Now I've seen two articles talking about tens of trillions of dollars of future entitlements. Of course few are willing to spell it out.

I think what your "elitist" friends were telling you was not so much that everything was fine with SS but rather that the Bush plan to 'rescue' SS was doomed to failure.
