I'll be happy to, Ms. Roses. You left out the fact that Brinker recommends that retired people have only half of their portfolios in the stock market in the first place.

0.5 x 0.3 x 0.65 x 0.7 = 0.06825, which rounds to 7%.

Other than that, I used 70% as the loss while you used 75%, but I'm sure you don't want to nitpick.

But just in case,

0.5 x 0.3 x 0.65 x 0.75 = 0.073125, which rounds to 7%.
