Too late about the bubble I googled it. I believe there is the same problem in Britain and other countries with Russian Mobs. That is not BTW an excuse but rather a mention that this is part of a wider problem that probably is siphoning cash into Russia.

Frankly I think that often from outside the US it is obvious who is going to win in the last weeks of the election. Just as the result of the last Canadian Election was obvious to anyone who followed Canadian Politics. Now if Bin laden, who seems pretty smart, looked at the situation he has a 50/50 chance, and if he is reading the signs of voter satisfaction with the last government it is easy to put together a plan to committ an act of terrorism in the first 8 months of a presidency. The planning is easy, the result is that the entire government is rocked, and it takes a great deal of time to get over it, and to figure out what to do about it. and the new government is simply slower to react. Any other time, you have a faster reaction, that is the only difference. It also shapes the opinion of the New president. There again you have a 50/50 chance, if the new president stumbles He has a real problem getting anything done in the next 4 years. If he manages to pull it off, he looks like a hero but only to some people. The object is to destabilise the American government, and to make the Administration panic and make bad decisions.

Even if I am wrong, being prepared in case I am right is better and less expensive than not being prepared, and finding I am right. Also the attacks I am targetting happened when sitting presidents were being replaced because they could not run. So that it would make sense and prove my thesis if the US does nothing and Bin laden makes a big attack
in the first 8 or 10 months of the next presidency.
