I have no idea on why they are lending now, maybe they think the washout is over for a few years in technology mfg. The equipment I am selling is increasing profits and ability to test what they are now producing for product after other facility investments. Technology is always changing, and at some pt if you want to survive you need to purchase new equipment to produce the technology being requested. Technology Companies that are NOT investing in technology will be, and are being left behind. I think some banks get this, some don't... Plus the capacity was wrung out of the PCB industry in 2002-3, most equipment sold to China for pennies on the dollar. Now if we see a blip up in capacity required, money needs to be spent. Also, a lot of product purchases that were going to China have been coming back to NA.
