I read that report shortly after it came out and I still can't believe the senate actually wrote something with merit. I've been harping about the Commodity Futures Modernization act for a while AKA the Enron loophole. Apparently BP was/are using the same tactics as they are being probed for manipulation. It's about G*damn time. edition.cnn.com I hope more people will start to recognize that these oil and gas prices are being driven by speculation, manipulation, and no oversight. Peak oilers/tight spare production capacity/low inventories oil bulls can kiss my ass!
