Yes, democrats will do a much better job on defense. We would be much safer from terrorism without Bush-Cheney in charge. Just look at the results. It's true Bush-Cheney and DElay types talk very tough, but their actions are incompetent, two-faced and counter-productive. In fact, their #1 priorities in national defense all made us less safe and our military less strong and ready. You can't judge a book by its cover, you have to see what the substance is. The substance of Bush-Cheney's defense policy is full of deceit, domestic political tricks, wasteful spending, profiteering and subterfuge, and the results of it all have been abyssmal. And sure, democrats are fine on defense. Murtha is our man in congress and no one is more qualified. Trying to make Pelosi seem like the next commander in chief is dishonest. Her focus is mainly on domestic issues. She delegates to Murtha on the Iraq War. Democrats have stellar expert leaders in defense and foreign policy, and they can work well with the more honest Republican types like Lugar, McCain. Graham and Hagel. But the Bushie Delay types all need to go. They have brought us nothing but waste, deceit and defeat.
