math said to stockalot:

<<You're leaving out the fact that subscribers who followed the October 2000 call AND the January 2000 call are up at least 25%, and ahead of the market by at least 30%.>>

--Exactly! This is the point they ALWAYS leave out, because it interferes with their campaign!

math added:

<<You're also leaving out the fact that he had said numerous times previously that when the general market went down, tech stocks would go down even more.

Guessing about which subscribers did what is pointless. The fact is that subscribers had to make their own decisions about which part of their stock holdings to sell, owing to the fact that he has always had a variety of investments to choose from. I see no reason to ASSUME that his hold ratings on MSFT, VOD, SPY, DIA, QQQ, UTEK, and GAB were all intended to override the 60/65% sell recommendation.>>

--This is basically the point bbaddict was trying to make on honey's board, and for trying to make it, he was attacked, chastised, ridiculed, insulted, threatened and otherwise roundly condemned! -:)

His point was if you want to evaluate ALL of brinker's advice, you had to assume a sale of 65% of MSFT and VOD in Jan. 2000, and repurchase of those shares in March 2003.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but it was a legitimate point, and he did not deserve the rude treatment he got.
