What's wrong with the country when you can use that kind of ugly rhetoric and get away with it? It used to be that Bush and Rummy would let Cheney and others do their dirty work. I suppose the fact that they are doing it suggests how desperate they've become. Nonetheless, I agree.......this country gets uglier by the minute. The other nite I was watching the scenes in NO from last year.......what came to mind.......what other country has a natural disaster that turns quickly into gang warfare, looting and raping? Such turmoil doesn't occur once in a long while here; in fact, it happens with considerable frequency. For the millionth time, I had to wonder......what are we doing in other countries trying to help them when things are messed up here?
