Rich countries get soft, they eat too much and play too much and life is good, like animals in a fine pasture they become fat and complacent. In 1938 North American was coming out of a depression. In 1939North America started to run on a war footing. Ships for war were turned out in wood and steel and even cement, huge strides were made in short periods of time to get the job done. In 1945 Germany was destroyed, and Japan was destroyed, and italy had been destroyed and the entire geography of the planet was changed. Then everyone came home and went back to the lives they interrupted. They then rebuilt Italy, Germany, Japan, France, England and Holland....... And invented computers and made cars go faster and planes grew bigger and faster, and put a man on the moon. and they are building a space station. Americans destroyed Russia without firing a bullet. In the same time, Muslims invented suicide bombing, and terrorism, although much of it they stole from the irish. So the Muslim Xtremists are now seeking to recruit kids from here to kill us. I wonder if they looked at our history or thought about how we will react, or if they just think that we are too soft? Once the American Liberal realise that this time they are killing us. That thin veneer of caring liberalism will show the nasty vicious person that lies underneath, the living being with the need to gorge on poverty and pain that most liberals hide inside.
