Of course this happens only in Brazil. Kidnappings: Guy walk on the street. Taken at gun point to ATM. Forced to withdraw cash.

For other people, kidnapping is people taken for a ramson, like footballers' case show, and kidnappers sent one ear to proof the guy is alive.

Here is more a creative way to get money.
