Genzyme vs. Baker Bros. That sounds pretty good. Within that pair you'd have to think a deal gets done, at a slightly higher price. I can't believe BB really wants to issue more stock and I don't think G is really going to go directly to the shareholders--I doubt they'd get more than 60%. I just finished looking at the 13HRs and AOM was BB's third largest position on 6/30 at $54m (today, it would be its largest position at $90m). Hiring Goldman is simply perfunctory, I bet they are only looking for a fairness opinion.

So at this point I would not expect too much more upside and I will probably start dribbling out shares.

Anybody think maybe amgn is in the background? If so we'll know in a week or so.
